Interesting that the CT4-V is the same weight as an xDrive M3. Clearly the M3 xDrive is the better track car. Also interesting is that during their 10 best testing C&D felt the CT4-V handles better but on a track trying to attempt the fastest times, the M3 is the more confident handling car.

One thing to keep in mind with C&D (and I'm sure other publications), they're very inconsistent in their comments. I remember when one reviewer called the m340i's suspension "anemic" and "harsh".... and another reviewer, reviewing the exact same car on a different day, discussed how comfortable and compliant the suspension was.
