Again, a newbie here and to BMW, so put me in my place if I am being ignorant....It seems that whenever we cold start the X3 (xdrive 30i) that there is a loud rattle in the exhaust/tailpipes. It is worse on the left side than the right, and almost sounds like a cross between loose gear or failed baffles. Once it warms up beyond the cold start, it settles down and sounds more normal. Is this normal with the X3 or not? I am 100+ miles from dealer and headed back next week to check on a few things with this new vehicle, and wondering if I need to add that to the list, or just get more educated on what is normal for this vehicle.
