While I am leasing my 2nd G82 and have my 2020 until 6/22, I am contemplating buying it. With the restrictions imposed by our governor, I haven't been driving very much at all. I only have 9900 miles on this car that I've had for 18 months. I've been reading that the last year in the model usually holds value a bit better. As of right now, I think I'll buy it. Another thread discusses the lack of data on the new F80/2. My opinion may change if the car is well liked by fellow enthusiasts on this forum. I also may decide to buy the F82 out at lease end and convert to a dedicated track car.
I don't think I'd consider an M5. I don't have any need for the rear seats. I'm reluctant to get a Porsche for my own reasons. I may consider the new Corvette Z06. I was impressed with the F82 I saw at the Monticello track day, but obviously did not drive or sit in it. Guess we'll see...I have a little while.
