as a person who is mainly using the car for track, PPF just makes things easier. sure $6500, but money and cost is all relative to the individual. washing is easier. don't have to worry about bird poo, water marks, minor scratches, and most importantly rocks and pebbles at the track.

i also don't have the time to personally be washing my car once a week or even twice a week. i've washed my car once since delivery on dec 31st. and the PPF washed it once for me when i took it back down there 4 weeks after PPF was done for them to have a once over and make sure everything was perfect. that alone, for me would be worth $5000 easy. lol.

if you are price sensitive or just don't think its worth it, that's ok, but it doesn't mean its not to someone else. you can say the same thing about the car purchase itself.
