I have had similar considerations albeit between a base M4 and a cayman T. The one thing that keeps bothering me is the size of the cayman and what’ll happen if one gets into an accident with it. Physics being what it is, it’s just a little unnerving.
On the flip side, I now get why the M4 is the size that it is. All vehicles have gotten so huge that everything has to grow in proportion to each other. While the G8x platform is bigger than its predecessor, it’s still small compared to a F150 on the road.
In this sense, the M4 gives me a feeling of safety vs the cayman.
