So another thing to note. At the lowest position of the front setup, I am able to freely spin the spring as well as the adjuster without using the tool. However, there is no vertical play and there is a tiny amount of preload. It makes me wonder if they tried to use a shorter spring and there was a lot of play so they had to go with a longer length. I'm not an engineer but that shouldn't matter much when the car is off the lifts and the weight of the car will preload the suspension so there is no play.
Which also makes me wonder if that is the reason KW and the other companies are taking their time to release their springs and stuff keeps getting delayed.
