I sent them the same email, everyday with those attachments for two weeks - then the M4 received an over the air update and most everything worked.

Yeah I’ve done all the above. The car is mapped to my US connected drive account and shows up in the APP. Just haven’t gotten any updates and the APP hasn’t updated my vehicles location since before I picked it up.
