You right about black interior; making dark as well.
That's why 90% of all my cars had light interior.
I think it's a lot harder to pair blue interior with most exterior colours. Unless, it's blue on blue. I just share my experience, so people bare in mind that there's possibilities of loosing few thousand $$ when they go trade-in their cars.
