Am I the only one who thinks that the center console, surrounding the iDrive controller looks overly busy in the modern BMWs?
I liked the E9x LCI update to the iDrive and limited number of surrounding buttons. Very simple and stylish.
Now it just looks like a soundboard or laptop computer keyboard. Very unappealing IMO. Kind of reminds me of the dashboard of the old AMGs with the useless full telephone keys.

Agreed looks terrible with all the buttons. I'm just imagining how all that black paint will wear and peel from use just like the E9x I drive.
