You won't need it if you lower it slowly using a jack. Then using the jack to compress it when you lift the suspension back up. It shows in the video. Refer to the 50sec - 1:30 mark of the video. |

There was another installation video of lowering springs but they used spring compressors... idk why when the process seemed the same for my F80
