Don't think it happens for ferraris, porsches and lambos each time they release a car and their sales keep going up. BMW leadership must think they know something the rest of the industry doesn't. I hope they are right.

Iirc it was “labia” front bumper, the hood line, and headlights connected to the grill. Wasn’t as polarizing as the g80 though that’s for sure.
Interesting about Porsche, I think that sneak peak of the new GT3 has these same hood indents a la Charger/G80. Must be a thing for designers now. Although to be fair to Porsche it looks like there’s a functional vent in there.
