What makes you think BMW will replace the clutch under warranty?

I have had a manual car from various different manufacturers in the past, and they all considered it as a wear and tear item. They will not replace it under warranty. BMW does include the clutch replacement in their extended warranty packages, if you didn't purchase it, you're out of luck. With only 7k miles, I'm sure BMW will investigate how the clutch got worn out so fast. Once they start pulling logs, you'll be screwed and your car will get flagged.
