Interesting statement, not quite sure where I stand on that.

On one hand, Porsche GT cars deliver driving experiences that are slowly going extinct (MT and NA in 2020? Yes please).

On the other hand, I also feel like these new cars are competing against the older cars now, and I'm not sure if they win, unless you're strictly talking about performance. For example, I'd rather have a pristine 997.1 GT3 for $60k cheaper than a 991.2 GT3. So are the new cars really great value for money? I'm not 100% sure. Another example is the 981 vs 718 GT4. The 981 was kind of a bargain considering they started in the 80s. When I build a 718 GT4, it's closer to $110k.

But who am I to say, it's not like I can afford these cars anyway
