Are the wear sensors an audible squeal? Or do they trigger a dash light?

We just had our first track day at Road America and are completely hooked. So I am trying to get a handle on wear before we go to our next track day.

We have about 15,000 miles on our stock pads and are wondering how close on average we are to needing new pads.

We did buy the extended warranty so I think we are covered on pads and rotors through 75,000 miles. I was worried about some stories I heard about these chewing through rear pads and rotors (possibly due to stability control intervention). But we are almost always in RWD, which as I understand it uses throttle for traction control.
