I have had the buckets for nearly 2 months and decided to add to this thread. I am not "average-sized". I am 6'-5" tall and have long legs for my height, and I weigh 200lbs, so I am not overweight. It is my only car and is used mostly for short trips, so lots of getting in and out. I find them comfortable and I don't find access a problem. The thinner seat back and seat position give me the sense of more leg room, which is a big plus. One negative is that I normally carry my wallet in my back pocket and I find that uncomfortable on long trips. If I need to get something out of a pocket, I generally find it easier to stop and get out. When I tried to store my wallet in the glove box, I forgot it about half the time. I have learned to put my wallet next to my phone in the wireless charger for any significant trip. If I start to get out, a warning pops up on the dash to get my phone. I am then forced to remember the wallet. If I were choosing again, I would still go with the buckets.
