I think that stigma will influence a lot of decisions. The Competition is obviously the car with the most stature, and those who want the Ms for the badge will choose that simply because it's the most expensive with the most power and features. Admittedly, an AWD M3 is very very attractive, but if the "Pure" provides a more "pure" driving experience for significantly less coin, then I might choose that one. Rest assured, the G80 forums are going to be full of debates about which one is the "best". The M3 vs M4 debate will be nothing in comparison. Prepare for egos to get bruised!
