It doesn't look as bad on a slender 2 door coupé such as the M4, but an executive saloon or a boxy SUV are just designed to look best with similarly sized front and rear wheels.

I guess we have very different definitions of what classical and elegant looks like, and there isn't really anything in BMW's line-up that fits that mold to me, especially not a car based on a mid-range 3/4 series that has been molded to be the exact opposite of classical and elegant.
