I too was scheduled for Week 40, went into “production begins” September 16 (VIN assigned that day), and that VIN has been scanned 3 times so far (which the Genius agent believes it’s in the paint shop, even though these days the system isn’t updating production status each step of the way). Completion remains October 4.
So I’m either still Week 40 or bumped up to Week 38, depending on whether the week designates when production is completed or begun.
FWIW, no carbon bucket seats or parking assistance; bi-color 825s.
