The extra 5 DNFs for Hamilton certainly didn't help his points tally.
Of course Button is a quality driver. So by that same logic, are you saying Max is not a quality driver, not on par with Vettel, Raikkonen, Button, given you used the statistics between Ricciardo and Max? I certainly think Ricciardo is a quality driver, I definitely rank him in my top 5. Now having said that, between him and Max NOW, I would definitely give the edge to Max.

My point is the basis of your ranking of Max, based on his years with Ricciardo, though logical, is not perfect by any means to use that as a basis of saying Hamilton is definitely superior to Max. So until they actually become team mates, all opinions are just speculations. It's when we start believing that speculations are more than what they are, then that is when it becomes fanboism.
