Highly doubt the market launch for the M3 would ever launch after the series production is released. The M3/M4 development is joined at the hip, as BMW AG needs to wait for the outgoing M4 EOP, then release the series production 4, then coupled M3/M4. Just like the X3M/X4M and X5M/X6M are always released jointly after the respective X4/X6.
