Note the word "electrified" vs. "EV". The former includes PHEV (and other hybrid vehicles). This obviously makes a huge difference for BMW who has just three electric vehicles (the i3 and the newly launched iX3 and MINI Cooper SE), but has many plug-in hybrid models.

On a global basis, by the numbers, they are in the top five.

Definitely not. And let's hope they and the rest of the industry do not try to pull that. Essentially all ICE vehicles will be 48V by end of decade and probably a lot sooner.
