In the video they say it's close to San Marino Blue but all pics I've seen whether out in the sun or in a parking garage show it as a very dark color. Almost carbon black in certain conditions.

It is vey dynamic! In overcast conditions, it will look dark blue but more vivid than something like imperial blue. In direct sunlight it pops and is awesome, IMO. Not as bold as San Marino Blue but definitely exciting; there's a lot of flake in the paint. Here's a few more pics of it with one I took of my car next to a San Marino Blue M6:
In the last picture, you can see the blue is still pretty strong even under dark skies.
