But, you know your history, so you also know they've shed loyalists every single generation. We shouldn't expect things to be any different this time around. Sure, the exact reasons differ from generation to generation, but it all essentially boils down to a tailoring products to a specific segment of the population, which inevitably means some of the current customer base ages out of the market.

Who's going to buy these BMW products with big grills you might ask? Well the same folks that buy the Audi, Lexus, Mercedes, Lincoln and other luxury vehicles with big grills. If that's not you, well, then you can congratulate yourself. You are now a member of the older wiser generation who knows everything. Hey, I'm a card carrying member, so I can say that.
