To bo honest, I can't imagine cutting the original exhaust. Just buy the dp-back or turbo-back exhaust. The middle pipes are not that expensive to ruin the stock exhaust system.
To this topic: Remus made a very good exhaust system for the G8X. It was definitly on my list for exhaust system.
