AWD. It will be faster everywhere in every weather except in straight line rolls at higher speeds.
Once comparable track times are out with RWD vs AWD cars I’ll be shocked if the RWD is faster on any track even including tracks with long high speed sections as the ring. That extra push out of every corner adds up unless we’re talking CSL type of editions where huge aero can possibly make up for it.

Just look at a racing serie were a manufacturer added AWD. Total domination that resulted in penalties and then bans or everyone followed.

You lose the purity but it’s not like the steering is a marvel of undiluted feedback...
