Porsche use the same tires for RWD and AWD on the 992.

As was greatly debated in the wheel diameter thread, I am of the opinion that the end goal of BMW and Porsche are different for using different front and rear wheel diameters.

For the G8X, BMW's goal is to vary the tire sidewall height (for all the reasons described in the video) while maintaining tire diameter.

For the 992, Porsche's goal is to increase the rear TIRE diameter while keeping the sidewall height relatively constant. As a matter of fact, the rear tires on the 992 have a higher sidewall than the front ones, in opposition to what we see on the G8X.
