So, I used to do a lot of Trackday's when I lived in Ireland and often went to tracks in the UK and the Nurburgring for long weekends with my e36 caged M3 etc but haven't been on track in 7 years since I moved to New York.
I'm thinking about booking a day soon and have a nice window of opportunity the week of August 14th when the family is away
I was trying to figure out online what is available locally as I'm totally unaware of the local scene.
I see there is a two day event ran by David Murray at Watkins Glen which sounds awesome but might be a bit much too given it's 14 hours of open track and probably suited to race cars testing etc ?... I'd probably end up needing a full set of pads and tires and about 10 tanks of fuel. It's tempting though
Anyone have any plans coming up or recommendations in the area.
I'd like to say I 'was' an experienced driver but I'm definitely rusty I bet, especially in a brand new car
