the CS models do seem to hold up a bit better in the last few years but as they age they fall off quite a bit. New they were 104k now you can get them for 70k or less.

It depends on the specialness of the model. An M2 CS holds its value more than just about every late model bmw an m3/m4 cs less so mainly because they didn't make much sense over an m3/m4 comp. I think the m5 cs will go down as a special model because it truly is a better car than an m5 comp.
