I've wanted an m4 for years, but the trunk situation was a literal deal-breaker for me. I ended up buying an Audi specifically because of the soft top.

agree 100% with this, the absurd space the hardtop eats in the trunk makes a vehicle that should be practical (4 seat convertible) into a vehicle that is next to useless for anything other than blvd cruising. For example, can't take 2-3 friends to the golf course on a nice summer day... and depending on your bag you cant even take yourself alone! Forget a week away (or weekend depending on how you or SO pack)
I passed on a vert in the F3X series specifically because of the hardtop
