I heard mostly positive comments from others. But no one seems to appreciate the look of the new M3, M4 in particular.
Chinese market is BMW's largest single market but not for performance cars. BMW and Porsche ditched all manual models in China many years ago, and I suspect that is due to inadequate demand compare with EU and US market. I am not sure about other Asian markets but in here people pay more attention to 0-60, comfort and lap time instead of sheer driving pleasure.
Overall I think the new generation will at least sell as well as the previous generation, but I am not sure the hard-core manual model will be reintroduced here.
