Sorry to keep this thread alive… where I live in Pennsylvania, it's not that commonplace to see nice cars. They stand out, especially to people like me who care. I'm a BMW nut, so I would have been hanging out my window giving OP the thumbs up. But I also know that most people on the road couldn't pick out an M3 apart from the badge, and even most BMW drivers are the same. I have a de-badged E90 M3 (previous owner de-badged it) but still get thumbs up and compliments, because those that know, know
