More evidence of Karen Dukec desire to completely kill the brand and its traditions. And this articles from 2019! This is way before the backlash really started. Now he's just making excuses and blaming all the customers for being idiots instead of admitting that his vision was wrong and he has completely destroyed this brand permanently.

As many have eloquently stated in this thread. BMW was late to the game on many fronts. They tried to reinvent the brand and screwed up. They will no longer be looked as pioneers, classy, prestigious, innovative, or unattainable. They will be looked at as a brand trying too hard with some shity looking cars.
While I am in the group that will not buy a BMW with the bulbous new grills, I don't think it is too late. Just as Coca Cola recovered from "New Coke", so BMW can recover from this debacle.

But...alas...I don't see any recognition that a recovery is needed.
