I too hate the wording of a base M3. To me it’s either Comp or non-comp. The demand is usually for the comp models as those are the automatics and ultimately sell better at any dealer. I don’t and haven’t worked at a dealer so not going to pretend to know how it works but I do vaguely remember myself having to wait for a non comp slot to customize to my specifications and options. You could try and go too a dealer that is larger that gets more “M” build allocations though. Good luck and it’s worth the wait!!!
