G8x with X-Drive will launch better than the Alfa's system. For being RWD, the G82 doesn't disappoint one bit.
Agreed which is why I ordered the xdrive but the video shows the rear drive and it didn't really crush it. In fact, it required almost the entire quarter to catch up with an SUV that came out in 2017. My point is that's not a win in my book. Regardless, I'm still looking forward to trading mine in for the M.
The rolling race is the only true Indicator of power to weight. The S58 shines when traction isn't a concern because of it's top end pull. My G05 would walk a rwd G8x from a dig, but I wouldn't dare race it from rolling 40 mph or higher. If anything, these performance AWD SUVs are expected to be dumb quick in the 1/4. With that said, the stelvio quadrigfolio is an impressive SUV.
Yeah. I have to disagree. Look at the hellcat. Having great power to weight isn't great if you can't put it down. I think both launching and rolling are important.
