I agree it seems silly, but when you're a professional YouTuber, it's your job to come up with this kind of ceremony and drama for content. And people do watch it, so I can't blame him.

Joe said (~0:46) that he ordered in November and picked up in March. Four months is relatively quick, but it's not unheard of. And his car didn't need to cross the Atlantic so that saves at least a couple weeks. I'm not really seeing any clear evidence of preferential treatment here.
