Several times we've seen Ham avoid collisions and come out on top. And even with a collision last race and damaging his front wing, he came out on top.

To say HAM has a knack for consistently avoiding race ending damage would be an understatement. Over the years I've never seen anything like it.
To add to, his race recoveries after minor damage, punctures, etc. And his ability to just simply drive around car damage that affects other drivers.
And... his ability to follow closely for extended periods of time, apparently unaffected in turbulent air. While somehow not really accelerating wear on his tires. HAM clearly does this better than any other driver on the grid by some margin.
HAM is next level. Has mastered the Merc and current formula.
If it weren't for a driving prodigy with kamikaze mindset, he'd be winning this WDC by 200 points, and these threads would be a lot more peaceful and boring.
