I also thought twice about the calipers. I was going for gloss black on all the exterior details, but with the gloss black wheels the black calipers sort of disappear now. The red would have definitely have made them pop. I kept thinking it would clash with the interior, but that would probably not been issue. With the all black I have on the wheels and brakes, the car needs to be in good light to notice them. |
That was actually my plan when I ordered black wheels and black calipers. I want those small rear calipers to disappear. They look ridiculous on an M car. They should have had one caliper for the emergency brake, and then at least a 2-piston caliper on the rears.
I was all set for red calipers, as I love that look. Not on this car though.
