It looks like the seat backs linked earlier are a 2x2 pattern. I don't have my car yet (it's on the Hoegh Trapper) so I can't really speak much to the interior. Here's some examples though from a different web site.

Historically, the only OEM 1x1 carbon fiber BMW products are the roofs and the E46 CSL parts. Everything else has been 2x2.
