I did notice that xHP users have the ability to change a variety of transmission settings, including throttle blips, so that could be an option in the future.

Last night, I decided to switch to XHP, especially after having a similar experience as yours. I must say, with XHP, there’s no clutch dump; the transitions are silky and smooth. It might even be a bit too smooth for my taste, but that’s where the customization options in their app come into play. I don’t mean to criticize the CS tune, but either something goes awry during the flash, or it just doesn’t mesh well with certain TCUs.
