i have 763M wheels 19" combo for M2 and use it on my M4. i used up 245 cup2 very quickly, moved the rear 265 to front and got 285 for the rear. I track 10 times a year, and now I got the new DT1 cup2 for front... so far i can't tell the difference on street, i may not track it then and find something else. or just get a normal black sidewall cup2 instead. hmm
You better believe it, BMW and Michelin (as other tire manufacturers) do invest the R&D time to optimize the tire for the given chassis. That's the whole point of the video in the OP.

I'm not saying that using the rear M2 PSC2 will not work in front of M3/4, what I am saying is that it is suboptimal. On my first M4, I, at some point, installed the rear 275 in front and it sure was not optimal and I certainly could feel the difference.
