Basically 220 is the fastest HR a baby heart beats in the womb. Then from there you're removing 1 BPM for every age of life.
It's just as skewed and tainted logic as old school Military height /weight charts or BMI for that matter.

I did some reading on it after replying to this thread, and it's indeed weird. Max BPM ever recorded was 480, and several people have been recorded over 300. I can't even imagine. Makes sense though, I was just chillin' at 205 BMP, so I'm sure there was plenty left.
