What I find helpful to avoid any mistakes is I have great lighting in my garage, but will have a floor lamp plugged in and move it around to make sure I haven't missed any spots as I do each panel. Once I'm done I'll move the car outside into natural light to look for high spots again. I've never had any high spots or any other issues doing it this way.

Same here, relative to lighting. I probably spend as much time inspecting for high spots as I do evening out what I've applied. Beside LED ceiling lights I have a variety of Scangrip lights I move around or hold.
