-we replaced the catted downpipes installed earlier with the stock ones due to the cold start being too loud in our opinion.
02/07 Mod #9 MST 2021+ BMW G80 G82 M3 M4 Competition S58 Cold Air Intake System BW-S5801
-Nothing was wrong with the BMS; we are pleased with the quality, sound, and fitment. We only did the exchange to test a different intake. We wanted to switch from a front mount intake to a stock location air intake.
-had we had the stock intakes instead of the BMS one, the install would have been lots easier and less time-consuming; since the BMS intake is a front-facing one, the install/uninstall takes more time. We also did not have access to a lift and did not want to remove the bumper as we did on the install

-We decided to wire the Bluetooth from the door instead of the firewall, it's easier to install and uninstall, it's also almost completely hidden.
-Im pleasantly surprised by how smooth map 1 is. Lots of power without any traction problems (RWD).
-Can't wait to put E85 and try the more aggressive maps

We've recently transitioned from the Active Autowerke (AA) Version 1 to Version 2 Axle-Back exhaust system. Both systems deliver similar audio performance, except Version 2 has a more refined sound during highway cruising RPM.
As of the last 3-4 months, all AA exhausts sold by us or directly from AA are Version 2. There's no external marking on the box or the product itself to indicate which version you received. The only way to distinguish between the versions is to open the muffler and inspect it internally.
