Not sure why the PR makes it sound like they just happened to stumble upon the fact this is the 6 millionth car and so they've decided to hold onto it. BMW planned to build this specific model/color/configuration for this milestone and this has been in the works all along.
If it were just up to random,
a) It probably would have been a grey X3 30i
b) They'd have to explain to the ordering dealer or buyer why they're not getting their car |
And they still missed to put on the blacked out grille
