I was the opposite of you and seemingly most G8x owners. First, I had never owned a BMW before. 2nd, the reason I now own one is because it was love at first sight when I saw the front end online. Never saw it in person, just went to BMW's website one day to see what 2 door coupes looked like. Saw the M4 and that was it, called the local dealer and was allocated and on order within days. As I then started to research to learn about BMW and M4, and read all of the hate about the front end, I loved it even more. I only wish it stayed that way and there were not so many converts.

Same with me. I loved the front grill. When I saw it on the 4 series, It was impressive, but on the M3/M4, they are more sleek and bold !!! I was gonna buy the I4 M50 but the front grill (like the 4 series) didnt pique my interest as much at the M3 one. I saw one in person and I was sold !!! Gave up my I4 order and placed one for the M3...lol
