I track gas mileage not only for a fuel cost perspective, but also for an engine health perspective (and because I’m a numbers/stats nerd).
But just as an example, my Nissan Titan is direct injected and my highway fuel economy is a good indicator of when I need to walnut blast the valves. I’ve done it twice so far and it’s very apparent when the need is there. So I’m a proponent of this thread, despite the haters. Lol
