I frequent a lot of different car forums and I can't recall any group of owners of the outgoing generation that liked the new generation upon release. It's usually filled with at least 75% of current owners picking the new generation apart. The old "
this is going to be great for resale value of our cars" comment may as well be cut and paste into every single automotive brand forum when new generations are revealed. The funny thing is within a few years most of those naysayers trade up for the new model. Rinse and repeat.
