This is great advice should I ever choose to re-do it, thanks. Sourcing some sort of thin, gloss black plastic and cutting to size to fill the badge area is a great idea. Simply for being able to apply the tiny badges on a flat surface, opposed to in a concave cavity (before then applying the completed plastic piece to the grill). Much easier for those of us with man hands.
