I'm not sure we really need to resurrect yet another thread about iD8 here. I'm not a fan of it, but I certainly understand BMW's motivations -- financial and marketing -- to standardizing it across the range. It would make zero sense for them to offer two different dashboards and telematics/infotainment systems as options on an individual car. No manufacturer does that, because it would be needlessly expensive and complicated.
Anyway, getting back on topic: This color combination looks fantastic on the M3 Touring. |
I'm not sure what you mean, it had been done by many companies including BMW. They had different dashes for screen sizes or even no screen. E90 without idrive for instance. |
That was a different time my friend. Bespoke motors, F1 involvement etc
