Despite the mixed opinions on the wing in the forum, I got it anyway because it filled up a void above the trunk of the car. Sort of like a 911 vs. a 911 Turbo. The side-skirts were a no brainer for a similar reason - to correct some of the lines that I didn't find very attractive in the base car. In the end, that's the beauty of these options, everyone can accessorize their car to fit their aspirations. And help end up with cars like this which are effortlessly 1 of 1 in config in the United States at this time (maybe even the world, when you get outlandish) - and we all get to share and enjoy as enthusiasts. And maybe get inspired for our next purchase.

I also agree on full body PPF. I just got mine back from full STek and Feynlabs ceramic. I did my first wash after letting the PPF dry for a few weeks, man, Ive had ceramic coated cars, but Ive never full PPFd a car. I highly recommend it. Just really easy to clean, and when I blow and towel dry the car, I have to keep reminding myself Im not swirling the paint, the car is covered.
Full body PPF would set me back a pretty penny in Seattle. I was considering not doing it until I saw the car in person. And then I was like, I have to do everything in my power to protect this finish. I just added up how much the entire "appearance package" is costing me in my mind, and... let's just call this car.. a higher calling.

One thing I like about certain enthusiast cars (the 911 is another) is the ability to tailor it to the owner's taste and mission. Let's call yours the "go big or go home" avenue. (Mine, to be posted before Christmas, is the "fly under the radar" boulevard.).

Enjoy in good health .. and LOVE how rich the shade of blue is!!
Thanks! The last two BMWs I bought were the 'fly under the radar type' - Carbon Black Metallic with white interiors on both. My wife encouraged me to mix it up on this car. I would have gone with silverstone had it not been for her. She loves to remind me that she helped pick the interior.

I still can’t get behind the wing though. Not my taste at all.

Congrats on the sweet ride!
Thank you! The wing seems to be like the nose. There are people who love it and people who hate it. People who see it in person say they love it uniformly, but I guess people who don't like it are unlikely to say anything face-to-face.

All the best in your wait. It IS worth it. The power. Omg. The power. And it's delivery. I was pushing it on a completely wet road today with no loss of traction. Situations where my 300 HP RWD would have had traction control furiously activate. Brilliant, brilliant car.

Absolutely on the PPF. And thanks!

And yes, now you know what I mean how these blues are just indescribable until you see them in person.
Your video was very instrumental in me picking Enzian and even helping arrive at the conclusion that the M4 looked good. Otherwise, I may have just picked Tanzanite and just called it a day. Thank you for creating that video.

Your car is gorgeous! I knew you'd a bunch of stuff from IND before you got the car. But then when I saw it all installed, I was like WOAH, I had no idea. I then went on my own shopping spree at IND, Autoteknic and Future Classic after that. Nowhere near yours, but I didn't feel as bad because there were people buying even more.
